cultural bridging

as a Kurdish Iranian American - i understand the rich complexity of holding multiple identities

in all the work i do, i strive to welcome and hold space for each person’s individual and collective cultures.

i work to intentionally build bridges within and among cultures to support contextual understanding and relational empathy

nature teaches us that our strength is in our diversity

the love i hold for my cultures allows me to recognize the value others carry for their cultures.

simultaneously, i both revere and dissect my cultures to delicately sift and choose which beliefs, values, and practices i carry forward.
